This year visitors will be able to see cookery demonstrations in both the Artisan Food Village marquee and in the BASC village.

‘Back to Country Basics’

Kindly sponsored by Universal Meat Company, Isobel Annesley from Kingarve Kitchen in Portadown is a local artisan food producer of artisan breads, jams and chutney’s.  She will be providing the ‘Back to Country Basics’ demonstrations in the Artisan Food Village marquee, throughout each day of the show featuring: Soda Bread, Wheaten Bread, Apple Potato Bread, Scones and Drop Scones.  She will also provide sessions each day, teaching the young anglers at the show how to prepare their freshly caught fish from the lake.

‘A Taste of Game’

In addition to the above, local chef Neil Bradley will be providing the ‘Taste of Game’ demonstrations each day in the BASC village.  Providing useful information and tips on how to best cook and accompany the various types of game, Neil will be happy to chat with visitors on the day.
